Robert
Uhlmann, the producer and songwriter for Smile.DK has given us
some exciting, exclusive details about the upcoming release. He also
shot down rumors about the group splitting up, "I've seen rumors
that they are splitting up...and I can tell you...that IT'S NOT TRUE.
We've just finished their 3rd album, which will be released in Japan
in December 2002."
When asked by our music critic Kage
Alan about their 3rd album Uhlmann replied, "I don't want to
reveal too much now but here are some of the song titles and a brief
description of each:"

About Future
Girls
One minute you are in China, the next in Hollywood. On Future Girls,
SMILE.dk takes you on a musical trip right around the world.
Future Girls is the title of the second album from SMILE.dk and it's a
strong follow-up to their debut album, which sold over 500,000 copies.
Future Girls contains 12 numbers that, each in its own way, confirms
SMILE.dk's mission in life, i.e. to entertain people and to make them
smile and be happy. This they succeed in doing, by means of their
catchy melodies, which are spiced up with cute, funny lyrics.
Through their music, SMILE.dk manage to create many different moods
and scenarios, including everything from the up-tempo action of the
grandiose title number Future Girls, to the deeply-felt emotion in the
ballad Counting On You. The various different numbers are tied
together by Malin's and Veronica's beautiful voices, which really come
into their own on this album.
With the release of Future Girls, we also have the pleasure of
introducing the new member of SMILE.dk. Her name is Malin Kernby and
she comes from Stockholm. Malin replaces Nina, who has decided to
concentrate on a solo career in future.
Malin has been singing and dancing since she was 5 years old and over
the years, she has sung back up for many well-known Swedish musicians.
She is always smiling and she is always happy, so she fits in
perfectly in SMILE.dk.
The two girls, Malin and Veronica, first met each other in1994 and
since then they have been best friends, even though they only decided
to work together in 1999. Their collaboration has now resulted in
Future Girls, a solid album with 12 new numbers.
The fantastic producers behind the album include Darwich & Garcia,
Robin Rex, Anders Nyman, Robert Uhlmann and Dean, all names that
already shine brightly in the starry sky of dance-pop.
In a nutshell, SMILE.dk are ready to take the world not only by storm
but also with a smile!

The album's title number is a powerful pop song with a
catchy chorus that is all about daring to look towards the future.
@ Doo-Be-Di-Boy
A number dedicated to the boy that you are missing, but it is spiced
up with cheerful rhythms.
@Hollywood
This number tells the story of a girl who wants to be a star, no
matter what it takes. It has a nice up-tempo beat.
@ Counting On You
The album's beautiful ballad, that leaves you in no doubt as to
Malin's and Veronica's talents as singers. It is beautifully arranged,
with strings and Spanish guitar that really emphasize the great
melody.
@ Dancing All Alone
This one is about imagining that the relationship is not over and that
you are still dancing together.
@ Together
This number is about how wonderful it is to be in love. Nevertheless,
it is an up-tempo number with lots of go in it.
@ Heal My Broken Heart
This is going to be a certain favourite, reminding you ofthe happy
days of ABBA.
@ Kissy Kissy
A cheerful musical trip to Asia.
@ Love & Devotion
A quiet introduction with piano and oboe leads into this catchy number
that is all about the one and only love.
@ Don't Let Go
All about searching for, and then finally finding, the right guy.

@ Dragonfly
The fluttering dragonfly is used as a symbol for being so much in love
that you are almost flying.
@ Do You?
You won't be able to forget this catchy number with the message: Stop

comments = I also totally love & adore Smile.dk and I´m happy to
say that I´ve heard they are recording there third album right now
and hopefully it´s coming out in the end of this year!! The girls
have NOT split up...there names are Veronica & Malin and they´re
both from Sweden. I also heard that they are working on a brand new
fansite whith lots of good pictures of the girls and
everything...ready in time for the album release!!! I have a friend
who has a friend who knows the girls so I´m gonna try to dig out some
more exciting information about them...

dance revolution game and now I love them. I live in the U.S. and
there CD's are not available here and that is very dissapointing.I
would love to be able to buy one of their cds but for now i have to
