MODA MAG.COM -- Penny Ericson is a firm believer that time,
rather than ruining things, can create a signature look of your own as
result of your unique lifestyle, touch and feel. With that
belief she created PATINA, a unique leather accessory line with
timeless appeal. The distinction of each item resulting due to
the natural weather process by the owner. A

had a chance to review some of PATINA's creations:
 
The Mini Jotter lets
you solve all your life's problems at once. Well, almost.
It may not get you the person or the job of your dreams, but it can
sure make you look stylish trying. Whether you are intending to
jot down the number of the cute fellow/lass next to you, hand out a
business card to a new associate or keep your receipts safe in one,
the Mini Jotter is an accessory that is as practical as it is
stunning. The Mini Jotter is quite small, so it is compact enough to
take anywhere. It's too small to maintain serious notes, but perfect
for writing down numbers, directions, memos and other important notes.
It comes with notepad and nickel finished 4” pen and as all PATINA
items, this Mini Jotter is made of the finest Italian leather and
comes in assorted colors and the Croc embossed calf and smooth New

The Card Carry Case
is a very elegant creation. It's function is typical, but its
look stands out. These days most cardholder designs offer a
choice between black and black. But PATINA allows customers to
pick between black, blue, red, purple and even chocolate. We favor the red
Croc look for its dark and glamorous tone. The down side? When you get
as popular as us, there just never seems to be enough room to squeeze in
those business cards from Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and even Simon
Cowell. After fitting in only the "special cards"
there is a little room left for a credit card and some bribes, err,

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
who's the fairest of them all? Why PATINA's Pocket Mirror
of course. Just pull out the leather encased mirror out of its
matching leather sleeve and "voila." Everyone will look in
awe. It takes a bit of effort, however. At first glance
the mirror appears to be quite plain, but the more vanity sinks in (eg.
the more you use the mirror to view your physical perfections), the
more weathered the leather becomes and the more interesting the

There is nothing more
powerful than wisdom. And in order to gain wisdom, knowledge is
a must. And further, to gain knowledge reading is a must.
But while you are all hunched up over those literary masterpieces,
it's nice to know that when you tire of reading, you can place a Bookmark
to mark the page where you last paused your adventure. While you
sit and reflect, an exotically colored, incredibly soft bookmark rests
also (between the pages, that is). Each bookmark contains a window for a 1” square
picture, so you can truly make it yours - and change the pictures as
often as you change your mind. Classy. And smart too.

This Brag
Book is certainly something to brag about. Softer to the
touch than you have ever imagined leather to be, you'll want to take
this photo envelope with you everywhere. And it just so happens
that it's small enough to fit in your purse. You need to be
picky about what you opt to share with strangers across the globe
though. The Brag Book allows you to store up to 20 of your most
cherished 4" x 6" photos. The concealed snap closure
keeps all of those special photos safe from harm's way. And
while your baby picture may be more than slightly embarrassing,
dragging around this luxurious Brag Book is anything but. BB1000-VC ($60)
