MODA MAG.COM --Legendary Comedian, film star and SNL alumnus Martin Short will be performing his stand-up routine on Tuesday, October 19, 8PM at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver by the Vancouver Symphony Society and in association with the 2004 Vancouver International Comedy Festival.

Martin Short was awarded the "Order of Canada" (the Canadian equivalent to British Knighthood) for his contribution to Canadian culture in 1994 and was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame in June 2000. Short made his big screen debut in "Three Amigos" and has appeared in comedic roles in films such as "Inner Space", "Mars Attacks", "Father of the Bride", and "Jungle to Jungle". In addition to his impressive acting career, short has also written and produced also written, produced a number of highly successful television series.

He has most recently appeared in the film Jiminy Glick in Lalawood, which closed the 2004 Toronto Film Festival.  The film is based on Short's talk-show host persona in "Prime Time Glick" which runs on Comedy Central.
