Our Modamag.com "Best of the Best" award is presented to only 5
sites per year. Those sites have not only outstanding content, or design but also
something extra special. Although we accept submissions for the award, most of the sites
are selected by us "discovering" them. |
Maximum Crowe -
We were highly impressed by this fan site, dedicated to none other than actor Russell
Crowe. It's informative and fun, but what makes it really stand out is the active and
unique approach. Not only does the site feature exclusive interviews - but Maximum Crowe
readers raised over $19,000 in two weeks for the Cow Parade, a public art event that raises money for
charity. Russell Crowe himself matched the donation for the Gladiator: Russell Cow, coming out to a total of
$39,000. That's why Maximum Crowe has made it into our list of the "Best of the
Best." It's simply the best fan site that we've ever managed to come across.
